It’s Betfair chase weekend from Ascot on Saturday, with some of the best chasers on show as last-minute prep continues before the Cheltenham festival takes places in March.
Rated one of the highest chasers in the land CYRNAME will head the field in the market for the Betfair Chase as he looks to put his last run-in defeat when pulled up and looking totally out of sorts which came at Kempton in the King George on Boxing day over the festive period.
CYRNAME who likes to lead from the front will no doubt have a challenge on his hands as there will be competition for the early pace, with DASHEL DRASHER and MASTER TOMMYTUCKER all wanting their own way up front.
This early pace could lead to an out and out dual therefore setting it up for a late closer if the fractions are set far too quick on the front end.
With Course and Distance form in the book for CYRNAME and RIDERS ONTHE STORM and who could forget the last time DASHEL DRASHER won at tasty odds for Bigfoot backers when lasting out from the front at Ascot back in January.

Won the Grade 3 Classic Chase at Warwick last time out staying the trip well, now on a three timer for Alan King who recently is in red hot form. Up 7lb for latest win but that looks well within his grasp. Looks a big player today.

Three wins in his last five starts, latest coming at course and distance galloping all behind into submission. More on his plate today stepping up in class but there could be plenty more to come from this progressive 8-year-old chaser and well worth his chance at a price in this company if he gets his own way out in front today.
Both matches in our Premier League Double come on Sunday this weekend, there looks no stopping Man City at present and they travel to North London to take on the Gunners and look sure to have to much fire power for Arsenal who have been dipping in and out of form.
The story of the season so far has to be the performances put in by Aston Villa sitting 8th in the table having lost 8 games drawn 4 with 11 wins.
They take on Leicester who themselves sit in the champions league places in 3rd unbeaten in their last three.
Aston Villa v Leicester… Over 2.5 goals
Arsenal v Man City… Man City win

Double pays… 2.43 Betfair Sports Book

All the best, good luck
