British Grand Prix

Silverstone, the home of the oldest race in the Formula 1 calendar, the British Grand Prix, which is the biggest single sporting event held in the UK, and is celebrating its 70th anniversary in 2018. Described by the drivers as unbelievably fast, and one of the most challenging tracks on the calendar, 2018 will see Lewis Hamilton returning as champion, in what should be another memorable year in Formula 1.

Festival of Speed

The Goodwood Festival of Speed is an annual hill climb featuring historic motor racing vehicles held in the grounds of Goodwood House. In 2018 the Festival of Speed will celebrate its 25th anniversary: “Festival of Speed – The Silver Jubilee”. The first Festival, in 1993, redefined what a car event could be, and, in the years since, it has firmly established itself as the world’s greatest celebration of motorsport and car culture.

Silverstone Classic

The world’s biggest classic motor racing festival features the cream of historic racing action from Formula One, Sports Cars, GT and Touring Cars. Not only that, but you also have access to the paddocks where you can get close to the cars and talk to the drivers and race preparers. It is not just about the racing though, with live music concerts, air displays, great food and drink, auctions and much more.

The 2017 season was one of the most dramatic in the history of MotoGP and 2018 looks set to be no different, with the likes of Dani Pedrosa, Jorge Lornezo and Valentino Rossi continue to deliver the fastest and closest racing action. MotoGP is an exciting, desirable sport that attracts passionate people and record numbers each year, all desperate to see these powerful, fast machines at full throttle.

Goodwood Revival

The glory days of motor racing are relived at The Goodwood Revival, a three-day festival held each September at Goodwood Circuit for the types of road racing cars and motorcycle that would have competed during the circuit’s original period, 1948 – 1966. It is the only historic race meeting to be staged in period theme, recreating the romance and glamour of motor racing as it used to be.

British Superbike Championships

The British Superbike Championship, is the leading road racing superbike championship in the United Kingdom, and is widely acknowledged as the premier domestic superbike racing series in the world. After winning his 6th title in 2017, Shane ‘Shakey’ Byrne is aiming for a hat-trick in 2018 after successfully defending his British Superbike Championship title for the first time.

British Touring Car Championships

The British Touring Car Championship is one of the most loved, most renowned and illustrious motor racing series in the world. Only F1 and NASCAR have longer histories – since its inception in 1958 it has attracted and enthralled millions of fans in the UK and around the world. Now with unprecedented levels of TV coverage, the 2-litre formula continues to provide one of motor racing’s most compelling, action-packed events for millions.
